“Another great win for Kaulig Racing! We had a penalty there, and we struggled to get back. We were just ‘bunny hopping’. Thankfully, Kevin Hamlin, my spotter, was able to guide me through the bunny hops to be able to go from the bottom. We were so far back with 10 to go. This LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevrolet, and these ECR engines are awesome. Matt Kaulig, we love you! Three in a row! everyone is saying it’s luck, but three in-a-row is pretty hard to do on luck. We got his thing into the round of eight, thats the most important part. I’m super thankful for everyone this is a blessing.”

“It was an eventful day for the No. 10 Dyna-Gro Seed car. It took us a while to get from our starting position up towards the front. Right when I thought we were seeing some light at the front of the field, I got turned coming to the green (on a restart). We had some nose damage, since we hit the wall head on before we even got to the line. It was a pretty big impact on the right side, so from there it was just damage control. Our pit crew did a great job to fix the right-front fender and get it to where I could at least make minimum speed. Even though the toe was knocked off and the wheel was to the left, it was still really fast. We were able to get there and mix it up. We were pretty committed to the top at the end with our right front damage. From there we just stayed on the top and watched my teammate, Justin Haley, go take another victory.”

I’m super happy for Justin Haley and my Kaulig Racing team for getting another win at Talladega. We had a good No. 16 Ellsworth Advisors Chevy and led some laps. We got shuffled out at the end and ended up getting into a wreck. It was an unfortunate ending to what could have been a great finish. I’m proud of my team for never giving up.
